WHAT TO EXPECT
- Services begin with the worship band leading the church in music. The words are projected onto the screen so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable.
- After the music, our pastor will come out to share an encouraging and hope-filled message from the Bible. The messages are practical, relevant, and easy to understand and apply to real life. You won’t be called on or put on the spot!
- A typical service lasts about 60 minutes.
- There is no dress code at Sterling Nazarene. Most people wear casual clothes, like jeans, shorts, t-shirts, etc. Some people like to dress up. That’s okay, we won’t judge!
We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week, and at Sterling Naz Kids, we make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our Sterling Naz Kids program the first time that you visit. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in for the Sterling Naz Kids experience.
Our Children’s Department is located on the lower level of the Main Building. Enter the building through door #1, off of E 5th St and head down the stairs to our Children’s Welcome Center. There you will be asked to check your child in and be directed to the appropriate classrooms.
During the 10AM service we offer nursery for birth through 3 year-olds. Little ones enjoy playtime and receive quality care from trained workers. We also offer Children’s Church for ages 4-years-old through sixth graders. Elementary students participate in an interactive, age-appropriate children’s message, plus games, crafts and more.
On Sundays, we invite all teens in 7th-12th grades to join us in worship. They can worship with their family or next to their friends, or join us on our Serve Teams. Youth Group meets on Sunday nights from 5:30 to 7PM.
