Missions

“The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.
Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send
out workers into His harvest field.”
– Jesus Christ (Luke 10:2)

Our Objective

To mobilize the church for world evangelism through prayer, education, giving, and involvement.

Prayer:

Remember your missionaries throughout the year in prayer. Many are often facing troubled times in the places in which they serve. They seek to be peacemakers and agents of transformation. They need your support through intercession.

Education:

The congregation learns about missions through deputation services, monthly “mission emphasis”.  Children’s church features missions one Sunday each month. Reading the yearly adult and children’s missionary books published by the Church of the Nazarene is also encouraged.

Giving:

Some of the ways funds for mission outreach are raised.

Alabaster
This offering is taken twice a year, all giving (100%) goes to buying
property and building churches and schools around the world, no
administrative costs are taken out.

Crisis Care Kits
Crisis Care Kits are made by Nazarene volunteers and are a tangible way that people can get involved in the disaster response process. Thousands of Crisis Care Kits are made, stored and distributed globally each year as needs inevitably rise around the world.

School Pal-Paks
School Pal-Paks helps provide students in Nazarene primary schools around the world with basic school supplies.

World Evangelism Fund
Especially emphasized at Easter and Thanksgiving, this fund provides the salary for our missionaries, Bible colleges, seminaries, medical facilities and more.
