Missions

“The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.
Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send
out workers into His harvest field.”
– Jesus Christ (Luke 10:2)

Our Objective

To mobilize the church for world evangelism through prayer, education, giving, and involvement.

Prayer:

The success of a missionary relies heavily on prayer.
To focus prayer on specific mission needs for the week, a “Seven Days
of Prayer” list is included in the Sunday Worship Folder.

Education:

The congregation learns about missions through deputation services, monthly “mission empasis”.  Children’s church features missions one Sunday each month. Reading the yearly adult and children’s missionary books published by the Church of the Nazarene is also encouraged.

Giving:

Some of the ways funds for mission outreach are raised.

Alabaster
This offering is taken twice a year, all giving (100%) goes to buying

property and building churches and schools around the world, no
administrative costs are taken out.

World Evangelism Fund
Especially emphasized at Easter and Thanksgiving, this fund provides the salary for our missionaries, Bible colleges, seminaries, medical facilities and more.
